Established in the Fall of 2019, the DWCC Student Committee is a professional development group for students interested in the study of white collar crime (broadly defined). The inaugural Student Committee leadership was comprised of Diana Sun (Chair), Megan Novak (Vice-Chair), and Emily Homer (Secretary/Treasurer).
In the past, the DWCC Student Committee has planned roundtables and panels sponsored by the DWCC at the ASC Annual Meeting, maintained the organization’s Twitter account, constructed The White Collar Times newsletter, and assisted the DWCC with various Division responsibilities. Student Committee members have had the opportunity to be paired with a senior colleague who also studies white collar and corporate crime as part of the DWCC mentorship program.
